Over the years, Vail’s philanthropic activities have impacted NPO, NGO and Public Institutions across the Globe, from health related organizations like the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Juvenile Diabetes Association, Make A Wish Foundation,  and St. Jude’s Hospital, to educational programs such as TITLE 1-Hope, Fly Thru Time with Hawaii DOE and Le Cordon Bleu Odyssey Scholarship, and to socio-economic focused organizations like The Shade Tree Shelter (for abused women and children), Child Haven, The Salvation Army, and the Andre Agassi Grand Slam for Children (for at-risk youths), to name only a few.  

Her personal and business activism has amassed over $600,000 in financial, in-kind services, products and contributions.

    Surf Lifesaving del Sur is a non-profit organization founded by career lifeguards Jimmy Canale and Laine Pepper in 2004.

    MISSION: Significantly reduce injury and drowning through the training of lifeguards and the implementation of lifesaving services. Promote public safety and awareness through education in boating and aquatic skills. Enhance coordination of public and private entities toward accident prevention and emergency response. And, create public service skills and employment for an expanding sector of youth in Mexico.

    Volunteer Role: Director of Public Relations for Surf Lifesaving del Sur. Responsible for all aspects of PR including creative design, content and website development.

    The mission of TSF-Kenya is to fight poverty and disease through advancing access to education for vulnerable children and improving livelihood opportunities for widows in Nyakach, Kisumu County through a long-term, holistic approach which includes financial support for education, life skills, business start-ups, training and child protection.

    Montrose Regional Crime Stoppers Fundraiser

    Inaugural Charity Fundraiser - Trap Shoot Tournament benefiting the Montrose Regional Crime Stoppers, Inc. (501c3), a local organization dedicated to assisting law enforcement with unsolved cases through anonymous tips.

    Volunteer Role: Creative design- Event Name and Logo Creative Development based on event theme, sponsors, and beneficiary. Collaboration with radio station The Range 105.7 FM & 98.1 FM radio station and event host. Montrose, Colorado June 2018

  • Salvation Army Food Drive

    Annual Food Drive

    Hosted the USA Weekend Magazine - Make A Difference Day Food Drive Benefiting the Las Vegas Salvation Army Food Bank annually from 1998 through 2013.

    The food drive was recognized for the impact it made throughout the community providing nourishment to those in financial duress.

    Vail's Annual Food Drive received the USA Weekend Magazine- Make A Difference Day Award and $10,000.00 grant for the charity.

  • CineVegas International Film Festival

    CineVegas Intl Film Festival

    A prestigious group of volunteers launched the CineVegas International Film Festival with an inaugural festival in 1998 on the famous Las Vegas Strip.

    Vail was honored to be a member of the Founding Board as the Vice President of Public Relations. And, also served on the Executive Board for the 2nd annual festival in 1999.

    The success of the inaugural and second years set the ground-work for a notable 10-year run for the festival.
